I can’t remember what Chiles said he would say, but in his summing up at the end he did it.
Jason Roberts said after waving to the home fans at Ewood park he’d walk towards the half way line and wave to the West Ham fans.
I got it on camera at the time, but that’s long gone now.
The Lawro interview was over the phone which I recorded as he doesn’t do email. He came across as a really decent bloke actually. Even laughed at the question about Liverpool having black armbands sewn into their kit to save time
